my 50th anniversary!

    [align=center]My 50th anniversary as a WORKING nurse is on Monday 1st September 2008
    [/align]

    At 8am on 1st September 1958, I started work as a nursing auxiliary at the West Norwich Hospital where I worked first on the maternity ward and then on the female geriatric ward Block 5. The ward was run by Sister Keeble and Staff Nurse Stack. We had a lot of fun there though it was hard work.

    The following year on Tuesday September 1st I transferred to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital to start my training.

    Since then there hasn't been any period when I haven't been working although it has to be said that my hours have gradually reduced until now I am working about one or two 7hr days per week. I shall be 67 next month and I am STILL working!!!
