This is coming up to the third year on the allotment (in Wirral), and the biggest battle has been clearing, preparing and creating. It's fortunate that my plot was originally a nursery bed but that doesn't stop brambles growing and that's exactly what needed to be tackled first in this brand new allotment area.. a mountain of brambles! But that's history and the allotment space is buzzing now.

Below I've added some photos of our allotment, it's so quiet, peaceful and serene, it's on a border of woodland so we don't get trouble or vandalism.

I hope this can be of inspiration to those who are fed up clearing back all the weeds, rubbish and throwaways and feel like it's a losing battle, and just to say it does get better.. much better!
