Happy New Year again Steve.Just had a look at your first week's update. As I said before I am looking forward to seeing your project come together and the allotment.
I saw the gardening programme with Carol Klein, but in the end got bored with it,so only half watched it.I agree with you about needing people like Geoff Hamilton and Percy Thrower.I also like Chris Beardshaw and also Geoffrey Smith, though they are more into their own specialities as oppossed to allotment gardening.
I am also looking forward to seeing how your growing calender looks when you show us it later.
I am just about to start off my Parsnips.I did a little experiment with the seed last year.If you want to PM or email me I can tell you what I did,in case you might want to experiment yourself.

Thanks for the link - as always, an interesting and practical read! KF, I'm looking forward to the next thrilling episodes, as I get to grips with veg gardening more seriously myself....

Dendi,I think Plotty needs to be on the TV instead of all these overpaid so called gardeners.I get more enjoyment out of reading Plotty's blogs than ever I do with the ones on the TV.At least he shows everyone step by step how to do things.I have been alottmenteering for 26 years and there is still more to learn, which is half the fun of it [IMG]
