      Looking good. Excellent choice of subject and photography.

      I buy my wife several small lilies in pots during the year and then replant them in the garden. But we've some "Gulliver" lilies we planted at the beginning of the year, which will shortly be coming out.

      I've always liked lilies, Coincidently; this is my desktop background.

      Good morning Doghouse Riley (Its a beautiful and serene background)and Marley thank you,I have decide to start entering into the Lilly world,as from this year,I know absolutely nothing about them at all:dh: but it will be a new challenge for me,I never realised that there were so many different species and colours,I shall need all the help I can get,:)

      :thumb: Oh Woo, they are gorgeous & there are many different ones... My peice to resistance so to speak is my Lucy Locket double lily with no stamens so no pollen... I feed them well & they keep coming although I keep these in my greenhouse..!!! I will go & get a picy for you..!!!

      Here are my 1st ones Woo.. The rest are all in bud waiting for the sun to come back to go I think... :thumb: I shall go & get a pic of my Lucy Locket in a mo when I go back out..:thumb:

      You know Woo, can't sat as how I know of any books in particular on them.. I have spent allot of time on the internet reading up about them most of ll I think, athouh I did get a coule of good books from the Library, but I am ashamed to say I did not make a note of them.. Why not hve a google & see & If you find some, try your local library & if they don't have it at your branch then request it..!! :wink::D

        :thumb: Hi Woo, thank you.. They are Casablancas.. A lovely one although I think mine are a tad smaller this year, but I am inclined to think this is due to our longer winter as all my lilies see smaller this year.. :scratch: :doh:
