I was just wondering how the corn was doing in the window box? I think I might like to have a go at that.

[IMG] Very nice aqua, it looks fun & so productive [IMG] I would never have thought of the corn what a brilliant idea. I shall try that with the grandchildren in their container garden next year if they want, which I'm sure they will as they love corn. [IMG] [IMG]

Its VERY productive and if the sun is out tonight I'll take some more pictures (I'm so proud of it all [IMG] )

The corn was a last minute idea and the seeds sown quite late, but its doing quite well [IMG] better than I thought it would.

As its my very first time of growing things (and nearly everything was from seed) I'm hideously excited and now enquiring about getting an allotment :D

I wish I'd grown more flowers though, I only did the sunflowers and sweetpeas from seed and they give me so much pleasure its unreal [IMG]

Thanks for all your kind comments [IMG]

    Hi Aqua

I am a newbie and have been looking through some posts and found yours. I love your yard. It's so productive! I'm hoping to the same with our back garden as we are renting this place so growing in pots are ideal.

I have the same kind of greenhouse you have and my plants get attacked by snails and slugs so I have been using 'Slug Stop' and I don't think it's working. How about you? All your plants seem so healthy? Do they get attacked by these slimy things at all?

Also, the corns look so small, are they edible.

I'm so sorry about all these questions but I admire what you did/doing with you brick yard so much.

One last quesrion though (hope you don't mind) what's happening to your yard this month as it's getting cold?

So sorry again for all these questions.
