    Hi Geckoman
No the lid does not fit properly. Must just be the make, but for the price I'm not going to complain. It (the lid) has made a difference i'm sure.

Going to see if we can get another one this week.
    Did yours cost the same?

    cheers

Looks ideal for windowsills, as long as they are not in direct sun, at least not for too long. [IMG]

    Evening Kathy3
3 for £3. Even better bargain.

I thought from your photos that yours were much bigger than mine [IMG] :D

However i think it maybe that my cells are smaller. It has the main container with no holes, then the individual cells in groups of 6 each. there are five of each group of cells so 30 in all. Then the lid which doesn't fit too well but has got to help surely, pray.

Mind you i always put in just more than one seed of course. Hopefully by next week these seedlings will be bick enough to transfer to bigger (small) pots. Plus we're going to B&M stores to try & get another one, hope there is some more left. Might swing by Aldi's too as that's on the way back (sort of, he,he)

Another problem i have is that the rooms that get the sun this time of the year are at the front & we have vertical blinds and there's not much room. Still I have roller blinds at 2 more windows so these will fit on lovely.

If only the weather would buck up i'd risk putting them out in the plastic cold 'greenhouse' [IMG]

    Good luck with them Kathy3.

    cheers

Ellie, it's just that the temperature can rise sharply in a relatively short time in direct sun and seedlings really need constant temperatures. [IMG]

    Hi all
Well we went to the shop but none left. Will pop in Sat to see if any more in.

    Kathy3
That's why i liked them, just right for the windowsill. But i can assure you it is not 'high' quality, but it is fine & i actually got the lid on properly this morning! As long as it does the job.

i have sown lots more seed this morning & have seed trays & pots all over the place! I have even used 2 empty food dishes that have lids. So, you're not the only one that likes a bargain. Honestly i'll use whatever i can
    [IMG]

Looking forward to a few weeks time when we can get some potted on.

    cheers
