Thought I'd show you all bits of my dad's garden. Only got the one pic at the moment - his giant echiums. Read that a few people have grown these with varying success. Dad's have self seeded!

He also has camelias, fuschias and lots of other things I don't recognise! More pictures to come!

Think my plot is a little breezy for them! They sway beautifully amongst the trees at my dad's!

They thrive in the Canaries and Madeira which can be very windy so they should be ok in Cornwall. [IMG]

Hi LOL! Dad lives in Truro too. Just across town from me on the north side. His garden backs onto a small patch of woodland that was part of a large estate - lots of big conifers that provide some shelter. There are tons of birds and squirrels too! He's into growing some odd things just beacause he can so I'll put some more of his plants on soon!

Dad's are really tall! That greenhouse in the pic is a 6'x8'. They must be 12' if not more! I should take a pic with my dad stood with them - he's 5'7 so does make them look tall! They attract 100's of bees, especially bumbles! Really buzzy!!
