My Daffodil bulbs showing signs

    already had walk in my garden this morning to see what was going on and surprised to see daffi bulbs pushing through.

    Roll on for this windy weather to change and maybe can get into the garden as want to change front garden a complete makeover.

    I second that its blowin a real hoolie here I have some tulips making their way up but i haven't looked for daffodils yet that would mean scratting about in the undergrowth.

    I put nearly 300 bulbs down in autum and now most of them are popping out of the ground.

    I have some lobelia in a hanging basket that is still in healthy flowering condition and some roses in the front garden are in flower

    good digger its the daffs. my lobelia pale blue is also in flower all through xmas in a sheltered place.

    I put my lobelia in the back garden between the two sheds where i have a little patio and i am really surprised that they are still in full bloom, i wonder what we will all be growing outdoors in a few years time

    we have had a really good winter
    here so far,sunny days cold nights.
    a few very windy days,some days reaching 11c
    not a lot of rain,had to give my winter baskets
    a little drink.supposed to get more wintry next week [​IMG] no bulbs through,just a few crocus,
    but only the very tips.nelly moser lots of new shoots hope next weeks weather dosent do lots of harm [​IMG] [​IMG] happy and prosperous new year to all at gc

    sorry forrgot to say
    havent been on pc to much
    stopped smoking on new years day
    trying not to sit too long, keeping busy
    bedroom and kitchen all painted,
    starting bathroom tomorrow,
    wish me luck with the weed [​IMG]

    Well done Kathy [​IMG] I know just how you feel,it will be 15 weeks tomorrow since we packed them in and we don't even use the dummy fags anymore...

    from 40 a day to none,thought i would pull
    my hair out,so far so good [​IMG]
    if i can be honest its needing to do something with your hands :confused:
