My daughter's drawings/art/jewellery, etc.

I've been thinking to post a thread like this for some time.

My daughter is currently 14 and she is applying for her secondary education studies. Her greatest dream was to be admitted to the National School of Applied Arts with 'advertisement graphics design' as her most preferred major course. Yesterday, all candidates had to sit the exam: still life drawing from an actual arrangement.
So did she and scored 5.75!
The grading system in Bulgaria ranges from 2 to 6 with the highest grade being 'Excellent 6' and the lowest 'Poor 2'. Nobody scored a full 6.00.
She ranks third out of the whole list of applicants.
Since last night, I'm the most blissful of mother that ever walked the Earth!

Good for her.
I'm sure she'll continue to progress and do well.
Hopefully she will achieve all she aims for.

She's very good Angelina! I always wished I was good at art and envied the people who were. She has a fabulous future ahead of her!

We were lucky to find a wonderful teacher - a lady who graduated from the Academy of Arts in mural painting and iconography. They 'fell in love' with each other, they could draw/paint and talk, and spend 24 hours in the studio together.
In certain aspects, she knows my daughter better than I do. So sometimes I had to pick up the phone and ask her... how I should approach my own child (how lucky). :WINK1:
In addition to the great job she did, she charges 30% less than the 'official' preparation programme delivered by the school itself.
And kid worked hard, it's true.


All in all, I find it so deeply rewarding.
I will report any further artistic developments, which prove to be worthy and 'photographable'.
