Right, time to show off my animals!

I have 2 dogs, both Lurchers and 4 guinea pigs.

I'll start with the dogs and do the guinea pigs in a separate thread!...

Lucy is a 6 year old Whippet X Beddlington Terrier bitch. Her personality is so endearing as she follows me round the house like a lamb and has to be sat at my feet or next to me. But she only does this with me (and a little with my partner sometimes) but is quite distant and quite frankly rude with other people

Murphy is a 2 year old Greyhound X Bearded Collie dog. He is a total cuddle monster, such a softy with everyone. He is a silly puppy still, just a very big one!

    Here they are!

Great pics Sam! I am such a terrier fan - love Airedales but too big and we wanted a "practical size" so we could take anywhere - therefore our Wire hair fox terrier called Ben ( see my album pics if you wish) He travels everywhere with us and loves boats - striding up and down deck when we have taken the ferry from Belgium to Scotland on holiday - he even tried to get on to the bridge when the door was left ajar!! But car travel...not his favourite transport mode - but he´s getting better.

Have you a problem with squeaky toys with Lucy? the "seek squeak and destroy syndrome"? Only solid rubber toys are suitable for Ben. Don´t get the wrong idea, he´s not destructive at all and will even wait for a toy to be retrieved if it rolls next to my husband´s guitar etc. he´s very careful - but squeaking toys!!?!
    Enjoy your walkies today.

    thanks everyone!

they do indeed keep me busy.

no that is NOT their sofa lollipop :skp::hehe: It is MY sofa. They are allowed on the furniture but we have plenty of space so one of the sofas is usually occupied by dogs :hehe:

Von Igelfeld, Lucy DOES love squeakies :hehe: not a destroyer of squeakies though :hehe::hehe: however, she does like to tear apart doggie soft toys (and spread the fluff allover the house!!!). As with yours though, neither of mine a destructive with furniture etc. .
