Moved into my new house a couple of weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised to find a couple of apple trees. The bottom of the garden has a hidden veg patch which we missed on the viewings!

    The first one is 'Fiesta'

The second tree is ' Green Sleeves'

They are it's pretty laden with apples. Say the second tree has been scorched by a garden fire the previous occupant had, but it seems superficial and the wood is still alive.

Most of the apples are unblemished but a few have scabs. Is it best to remove the blemished apples?
