My First Primrose Flower....!!

    [​IMG] This is my first real Primrose in flower in the woods today..!! I haven't been up there for a while as the weather was so bad, but today I had the chance...

    The primrose is my all time favourite wild flower. Lives up to its name too as the first flower of the year - "prima rosa" though it's not a rose of course. In the garden this year, they and the cultivated polyanthus forms have been flowering throughout the winter

    :D Well of course Pal.. Best so far this year....! :D They were all there, Winnie, Edward,Paddington, Emelia & the rest of the gang...!!! :D :D

    Yes my garden ones have been doing well too... Such delicate, but cheerful flowers....! :D

    It is just such a pleasure to see them in wild doing their own thing..!!
    The Blue bells are pushing forth at a great pace now too....!!!!!

    Stingers seem to be doing a prety good job as well....!!!!!!!! :rolleyes:

    Thats a lovely welcome sight its good to see the plants coming back to life..
