Last year I planted lots of snowdrops in the green because previous attempts with dry bulbs had failed.

Today I noticed the first little group were in flower. It really cheered me up and made me feel we had turned the corner. :yahoo: It's amazing how beautiful these little flowers can be.

To add to my feeling of well being my son has become engaged to a really lovely girl and we're all thrilled to bits.

    Hi Jovi,

I think Snowdrops are the first plants to give hope that Spring is not too far away and as you say planting them in the green gives you better success than the dry bulbs. I have some wild snowdrops in borders but I'm tempted to buy some more in the green to plant under my Acer. Congratulations on your son getting engaged ----- and start saving up for the Wedding!!!
