My first TreeCreeper

    Look what our neighbour found on their door frame the other day - baby TreeCreeper - never seen one before

    but then look what we saw yesterday - I was delighted to get a shot of him but this morning there are a pile of feathers - think it was a blackbird. Love to see them but don't like what they do.

    Thats not a Blackbird - its a either a sparrow hawk or a kestrel - I go for sparrowhawk.

    Blackbirds do not kill other birds.

    No, I think the pile of feathers WAS a blackbird,. I know it's a sparrowhawk

    Lucky to see one sooo close.:gnthb:
    In all my years of bird watching I have only seen three.
    Come to that I have only seen about six Sparrowhawks.:(

    Great shots Clematis. In my last garden we had the tree creepers but they are quite discreet birds and you have to look at the trees to see them creeping up and down the trunks. . You're neighbour was lucky to have one out in the open like that.

    And I knew what you meant about the feathers.
    We had the sparrowhawks go through the garden too - once they have a victim in their sights they have no chance.
