    Sad!
We have friends whose garden looked like that a few years back, but when the water went down there was a surprising amount of the garden left intact ish. So fingers crossed for you!

I do hope so Palustris, although the potted cordyline may well have up'd and left. If I remember rightly it was on a slab in the 'gently' trickling stream.

Sorry about your situation Daz and Debs!
Please let me know if you need some seeds/plants as I am fortunate enough right now to be able to "pick and mix" a bit. Neeldess to say though, there are so many folks on this website who are incredbily generous and will help out.
All the best to you both!
    Kind regards!

Sorry about your garden folks. Not much fun when you put a lot of effort into it I know.
I live in Rotherham so I've seen some sights over the last few days. Unfortunately I live near the Ulley reservoir, fortunately I also live on a hilly part so fingers crossed will stay dry should it break its banks.
Good luck with the drying out

Its a sad sight daz and debs, I hope it dries out and the garden is reasonably intact.
As someone else said it may be supprising how things take of if we can just get some dry sunny warm weather.

Oh, pena, d&d ... what a horror to come home to. We went home to a collapsed witchet wall once which took out a 100 year old Cotoneaster, but nothing like this! Hopefully all will recouperate. Guess it's a hazard of having a beautiful stream in your garden! My thoughts are with you.
