    Dont know what its called, but I think its an annual.
    As for getting rid of it.
    You grasp it in your right or left hand, and pull gently.:snork:

      Looks like Speedwell,gets lovely Blue flower on it but needs hoeing before it flowers and sets seed if they want rid of it:blue thumb:

        Agree with Loli, Looks like bird's-eye speedwell (Veronica chamaedrys).
        As for getting rid of it, Pete is spot on, just keep pulling or hoeing it out. It has very shallow roots and comes out quite easily. :dbgrtmb:
