My Fushia's Are Dying!

    Please help! i had a beautiful show of fushias in my conservatory but they have been outside for a week and have developed a light brown and dark brown sheen to the leaves and on the edge of the leaves they appear to be dead as rthe leaves are very dry. There're my pride and joy please can someone tell what has attached them and how to cure it, i have kept fushias for years and never seen anything like it - HELP!

    This sounds as if the leaves have scorched. Were they in the conservatory when this hot weather started, and did you water them, making wet leaves in the full sunlight? If so, its not terminal, they will pick up and sprout new leaves.

    Another thing that can happen is that having been in the conservatory they may have made a lot of soft growth, which when exposed to the real world shrivels a little. I had some in the greenhouse on a lower shelf, when I put them outside this happened. Again they will recover from this.
