      That looks fantastic, well done.
      I'd be interested to hear what you have used and what your thoughts are on the 'jungle' type look you have in places, such as behind the bench with the giraffe. I'd be keen to try something similar. Sorry, if I haven't described it too well.

            Thanks, it looks great. I'd worry about the Scottish climate and overwintering. How do you deal with it?

                NewBhoy, the ensettes go in the summer house, everything else stays out. i'm very sandy here being close to the coast, so it doesnt get waterlogged or too wet at all, even if we have weeks of rain, its dry within a day afterwards. even the pelargoniums have stayed in flower since last year.

                    Love the use of the space Al. I am fair bit further south than you and I haven't managed to create a wall of colour like that. You have a pink cactus dahlia at the back - do you remember what its name is?

                        hi paullypaul, if its the dahlia at the side of the tetrapanax near the summerhouse you mention, its called orfeo. (iirc)
