    Hi Everyone,
I took some snaps today so thought I'd upload them for anyone who fancies a look. I started working on the garden at the start of year - I have no photos from then but imagine an overgrown area of weeds and grass up to your waist, along with nettles etc.

This is basically how it is looking at the moment:

Outside my front door I've got a bed with various lavenders and curry plants, along with some crocosmia bought when I was down at Heligan a month or so ago:

This is the path I've dug, edged and lined with hardcore ready for some gravel. A very long and back breaking job but the worst is done now. The grass on either side is all turf:

This was the first bed I planted this summer, as I was dying to get some plants in there. It's just made from railway sleepers and filled with top soil:

and the same goes for a small veg bed, but I only set three rows this year as time ran out, I want to try the "green manure" as shown on Gardeners World over winter:

This is a small bed which is going to be graveled and have pots plus a bird table on it. I have a lot of pinks and herbs in pots so they will probably go here:

Now on to the not-so-nice area. This is the drive, I need to put some hardcore down, then an anti-weed blanket and fill with gravel - hoping to get this done in the next month:

The area around the gas tank is a mess as well, but I'm working on that this week:

One of my favourite plants is Pampus Grass (a weed to some!). This is a young pink one I picked up to fill the space to the left of my drive gate:

The apple trees, set by my Grandad years ago, have been cleared around and had a good prune, they are loaded with apples at the moment:

My strawberries are all set, I managed to plant some runners in held down with tent pegs and they're routing well now:

Finally, another bed I've only just begun to work on, it has a few lavender cuttings, curry cuttings, crocosmia lucifa, a Christmas Rose and a few pink cuttings. This time next year it should look a lot better:

and that's it really - still a lot to do but it's getting there.

very nice house and good sized garden .... you can do lots there

with the path, look at bamboo on both sides that forms a tunnel .... there are some clump forming varieties that grow at 45 degrees ... similar to the 1st photo in this link:
      Pleioblastus linearis

I would love to do something like that, but most gardens I work in don't have the space or a long path
