[IMG] [IMG] this is some of the work ive been at this year.the "tree house " i built first for the kids then i decided to start at the entrance to this part of the garden by making this small arch. i dug up the ground, " discovering the electric mains i had been warned about in the process", to lay the frame for the path.added some granite cicles along its length for interest and filled with granite chippings. the path continues past the tree house and up around to the left to a higher part of the garden where im at present making a patio .ill show some photos of this part when i learn how to reduce the size of these photos as i know theyll be large. under the tree house i plan to make an avary for some birds,"next year". the planting is minimalat present , but i guess ive got that to look forward to . hope you liked the first photos iveposted here of my garden .

Great stuff, Tig! You built the tree-house from scratch? Looking good! Love the entrance to the path, and can see why LoL likes it! :D

    The planting will be fun!

[IMG] sure did build it from scratch. all made of inch tanalised timber. just put this slate roof on about a month ago, and ran the spouting down into water butts.theres a very small window on the other side which my kids use to "spy"on the wild life.

Yes, dendro, looks a wee bit like my arch, doesn't it? :D But I could put the Minikies in the house and "get rid of them" if you know what I mean! [IMG]

How lovely, it looks very mysterious tucked away down the windy path. I like the cheeky face peeping over the fence. [IMG]
