With nothing better to do this afternoon, I though I take the opportunity to post a few pictures of my garden. We have been working quite hard over winter building a new pond so here are a few pictures of what we have been up to, the first lot of picture was taken about January this year

These next set of pictures were taken at the beginning of this month!!

    and finally

We still have a lot more to do, but at least we have broken the back of the hard work. We still have the decking to install to hide the filtration system and the paths still have to be laid. As they say a gardener's job is never done

    Thank you for looking!!!!

Wish my fish pond looked like that.
Got that Japanese feel with the pots of Acers, hard work, but worth it.

If this hot weather keeps up, the fish will be nominated for eviction :D .

Funny you should mention Japanese feel Pete. The fish we have are Koi and I'm reading a couple of books on Japanese gardens at the moment. I am hoping to create a japanese section into the garden, over the next year or so.

I've got the basics down for the garden, but I will be cutting into the lawn I sowed last month to try and give is a more fluid shape.

Well thank you all for your kind comments. I will try and keep you all posted on my progress.
