They look great :) I bet they're a hand full, The 4 ex-bats I had were. straight to you when you tired to get into them and tried to follow you out the gate but they were a joy to watch and had their own personalaties.

Oh yes with out a doubt:) I think they all look completely different

Oh they definately are. They follow me around like a dog (I am constantly tripping over them), they greet me when I come home from work and help me do my gardening (I plant it they dig it up) lol:lol:

Ex batts are so friendly and so rewarding

I gave up planting in their area as they'd eat just about everything I planted, :lollol: including my first atempt at onions. They were fantastic at weeding though, if they didn't eat them they scratched them out and I just had to go round collecting them :thumb: I just can't wait to get the new girls out there but they're only 9 weeks old and not ready for the big wide world yet.

Lovely pics, TortMad. I just noticed that not only do they have different feather "dresses", but also different combs too.

They sound like great helpers in the garden, sweetpea, with their weeding abilities :D

Chickens are great for weeding and turning over the soil. Someone I know brought a few of her girls to her allotment, fenced them in and let them get on with things for an afternoon. They did a great job scratching over old soil and weeding, plus they had great fun!

However they will trash a garden in a matter of hours. Its not so much the scratching, as the trampling and pecking at anything they fancy.

Wouldn't be without our girls :)

Thank you all for your kind comments about my girls. I think each one is totally different from each other not only in appearence but in character as well.

I wouldn't be without them either :wuvu:
