    Hi!
This is another question about my Japanese Honesuckle plants, which I've had since June. There are many leaves with holes in them, yet the growth still seems to be healthy. Is something eating my plants? I sprayed them with an insecticide on the middle of July and I haven't come across any creepy-crawlies on them since. I've seen a snail near my plants, but I didn't think that snails had teeth! Any advice please?

Janet snails have millions of teeth, just inside his mouth is the radula, a special eating muscle which is a little like a tongue. however it is covered with millions of tiny teeth. The snail uses his radula to rasp and scrape at whatever it is he is trying to eat slowly breaking it down into a mush which can easily be digested. Probably the damage was done before you sprayed, try going out at night with a torch you may see what is causing the damage.
