After a couple of years of my lawn looking really good I recently mowed it afew weeks ago and my mower didn't pick up all the cut grass, my own fault I didn't then take up the excess until afew weeks later. Now 3 weeks on from raking up the excess it is still really brown and looks quite nasty. I have used weed and feed afew weeks ago. Any ideas or tips how to get it back to former glory?[IMG]

    Hi Lloyd
It looks like you cut it to short for a first cut and then maybe frosted.
It looks like it needs a really good soaking, I mean a really good soaking.
and then patience and then another good soaking.
It's possible you put on to much feed in dry weather and burned it.
    Good luck.........don't despair.........:dbgrtmb:

Thanks for the advice. You are probably right with too short first cut. I'll go get the hose pipe :)

    Hello Lloydarr
the thread below may be useful to you . For the record I never use granular weed and feed only the liquid stuff dispensed with a watering can . I feel it gives better coverage with minimal chance off burning.
Evergreen used to do a very good one , but its not available now . I used Vitax Liquid lawn Feed n Weed this year.
