We moved to a new house last year and the lawn is a disaster.

It's on a slope with about a 1 metre difference in height from the top to bottom. On one side is a large wall and a hedge along the bottom.

It seems to be a mixture of fairly course grass, moss, clover and dandelions. It also is very bumpy.

There's nothing I can do about the slope but at the very least I would like to level it out a bit so it's not so bumpy and lumpy and get rid of the weeds, clover and moss and have some nice grass on it.

I have absolutely no idea where to start with this mess and would love some advice.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Spray with roundup to kill off whats there, allow 2 weeks to die off.

Run a cultivator over and rake out the soil removing weeds and stones. Seed and keep watered.
