From my initial savings in the Stoptober challenge, it was time to invest in a new health device.

    Introducing *drum roll please* ....

    Our boy 3.JPG

    Ozzy!!!

    Our boy 4.JPG

He's a one year old cross breed and like a huge teddy bear!!

He adopted us 3 weeks ago :dancy:

Haven't had him out for walks, yet, because he needed to settle in our home and garden first. He had his first trip in the car last week though and he'll be going on another journey in a couple of weeks for a little (shhh!) *snip* :mute:

His basic obedience is very good, but, because of his mix, he will only obey when he feels like it

Despite that, I just know we are going to build on the fun we've already had and hopefully have many more years of bouncing, running and catch ahead

Oh he definately likes cuddles :)

The first week he was here, I was grooming him, but he won't stand up for it, he won't sit down for it; no, he likes to lay full length on the floor. Fine! I'll lay full length beside him then (easier on the back ;) )

Son walked in and saw us like that and giggled to himself. Next morning, Mr Mum greets me in the morning with:
"K told me you were 69'ing with Ozzy last night :) "
            :thud: :nonofinger:
:oopss: "OMG! No, I meant, spooning, spooning!!"
            :patpat:

~ He's also a very keen gardener, our Oz :doggieshmooze: He loves my raised beds and tenderly extracts a carrot each time he goes up that end of the garden :roflol:
~ He can sniff out a hidden duck egg from 70ft away! ;)
~ He doesn't join in the barking-song (which is great as I live next to a park!):blue thumb:
~ He wants to floor anyone who comes to the front door .... to lick to death! :nonofinger:
~ He adores his "piggy" toy and nothing beats sitting on my feet, chewing his piggy while I watch a favourite programme in the evening: "Squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeak!!!" (Time I learned how to turn on subtitles, I think :heehee: )
~ Mr Mum is, and always has been, scared of dogs: Ozzy has melted his icy heart :D
~ Last night, one of my kitchen cupboard doors was mysteriously open, but no one had been in there. Oh dear, must be Ozzywoz :heehee:

Still wondering how anyone could have given up on him :( We're his third - and final! - home

He's a real beauty Mum ... and I think you will spend a lot of time grooming! He's a lucky boy you found him. Enjoy your new plaything, as he will you ...:doggieshmooze:

Victoria - yes, grooming is a daily job, but one we are both enjoying :)
Thank you for mentioning liver cake, never heard of it before but found a recipe and made one yesterday. Didn't have liver and had to substitute kidney, but, Ozzy says: :hapydancsmil:thank you :doggieshmooze:
Have some to hand and a slab in the freezer: this is so much better value than any shop bought training "treats" and at least *I* know what is in them! :dbgrtmb:

Isn't he gorgeous?! Sounds like a real character too - the bit about squeaking piggy toy while you're watching TV made me laugh out loud.
