I have just tidied up another little woodland area ... planted up with a few Japanese maples, a couple of other acers including Drumundii and Crimson Sentry, and I have allowed a few native trees to flourish ... Ash, Scots Pine, Holly, a Japanese flowering cherry I grew from a cutting, and even a little apple tree my sister in law grew from a seed. As it develops I think it will look fab in autumn as the maples develop. Wifey says I have too big a garden already, but it is so difficult to let a piece of ground go idle :) LOL

Some spring bulbs would look great in that area!
