Last year I planted out two deep clay containers for my stone seat by my Acer Brilliantissimum last year and really enjoyed seeing them develop. Over the Winter I put them in the cold Green House to see if they would survive. This is how they look after the Winter and they will need a tidying up but they haven't done too badly due to the mild Winter.

        Looks good. :dbgrtmb:

Mrs Shiney did some a few years ago. She didn't put them away each winter and they're falling apart and cracking up.

They need a bit of tidying up, Sheal, with perhaps one of two new plants and a fresh dressing of gravel but I am happy with them. The large, and heavy, old cottage sinks that stayed outside haven't done so well although some plants have survived. One of them will need emptying and moving into a more suitable site than the one that it is in now which is under the Lilac in too much shade. It's going to be a B*&*** to move because even empty it weights a ton!!!:hate-shocked::doh:

Looks good, but just one question @ARMANDII, how do you spell c0ntainers? :)

(clue, I bet the search feature on here doesn't associate numerals with similar looking alphas).

They may need tidying up but the plants look healthy. Watch your back shifting the sink! :)
