I dont mean to get smutty, but a friend of mines, husband is an avid fisher and makes his own flies. We recently had a laugh about her husband asking her for some pubic hair cuttings to make a fly for fishing. (apparentley something to do with the hormones) has anybody else heared of this or is he just a pervert.:D:eek:

I used to be the President of Ayr Angling Club, and tied my own flies. The hormone thing is a fact, usualy just the hint of the female hormone is enough, I donn't think I have ever heard of the Pubic Hair Syndrom !!

Fishing is a well established tradition in my family, with my father having been very passionate about it and having won several competition in Italy.
My 25yo nephew picked up this passion (he has a "Steve Irwin" kind of attitude) and right now he is fishing in Australia, just for fun...
When he can put hands on some chicken, he takes a couple of feathers from them to produce some fishing related equipment.
In shallow water he can even catch fishes by hand (not that he lacks the fishing rods !!!)!
I like fishing myself, although I haven't done an awful lot so far (mainly fishing is swedish rivers and frozen lakes), but it is certainly a hobby which I want to practice more in the future.

Your in the correct area Miraflores, the fishing in the chalk streams is excellent. Dry fly will catch a lot of fish.
