My petunias are germinating!

    :dancy:Yippee!! I thought these were going to be a real pain just to get started, but I had a peek earlier, and I can see the tiniest wee seedlings clinging to the surface of the compost. Hope they get a move on now they have started - I can hardly believe that these are going to make plants of any considerable size.

    Just wish my pansy padparadja would do something similar.

      Well done with the Petunias FC, I can't remember whether mine are up or not, haven't visited the temporary nursery (my sons ex-bedroom) today, there's twenty five trays in there already!

        Congrats:blue thumb: I've found they really are quite delicate at this stage. Easy to overwater particularly. Plenty of light, but no direct sunlight as they will readily scorch, and die.

        Mine are struggling , the purple Wave have all germinated but nothing from the others yet after 11 days on the prop . I am growing Wave and Avalanche Petunias, not sure why as they are very frustrating to grow.:gaah:
