My garden is quirky with things I have been given by friends or bought for a song. Old chimney pots, a lav reincarnated and a few other "features" which add to the individuality of my little piece of heaven.

This old tin bath was discovered in a shed in my son's garden and he was just about to tip it when Mum stopped him.

My old bike was bought for a pound and I fill the basket with bulbs for the spring and annuals for the summer.

Another bargain bought for a quid from the guy with the bike (not Steptoe but probably a relative!)[/align]

I'm sure no-one would want to see how I re-cycled my old water butt that had developed a split just above the tap - mainly because I cut off the bottom 6" and now grow mint in it, whilst the main part became my 6th compost bin. Of course, if anyone collects compost bin pics., I guess I could oblige :hehe:

    Very artistic, I'm well impressed.

    I'm all for recycling.

The hand rails on the steps of my patio and outside our kitchen door started life as parts of a redundant checkout sweet stand. Some scrap mahogany finished the job.
