my seeds

how do i pot cornflowers and love in a mist seeds..can i just put them in the ground or do i have to pot them in a cool frame?

 

They need to go in the soil ..if you plant them now where they wont be disturbed you will get them through a bit earlyier next year..If you have a lot of birds pecking at your soil like i do then keep them till the end of march then plant them..As most of my plants are supposed to self seed and i have noticed loads of birds pecking in the last two weeks so its possible i may have to reseed some of my garden..The cornflowers would look nice mixed with some poppy seed it would give you lots of colour..

 

I plant mine straight into ground when the soil has warmed up in late spring, April May time. they now just come through as self seeds.

 

thank you ill wait till the spring because theres loads of blackbirds..pecking in my soil...
