My Spuds are Looking Good

    ....I think all the recent rain has done my Rocket spuds good this year, they are looking very lush and healthy; last year was so dry during the spring that I was continually watering them, I haven't watered these once yet, even under all the leaves the ground is lovely and moist :blue thumb:

    There are also a few flower buds emerging so there on schedule for an early June picking........yummy :dancy:

      Cor...they look great Bilbo:yes: .....mine look to have been nipped by the frost a bit but hoping they'll be ok...

        They look pretty good to me Bilbo,
        Mine are all in flower, only problem is the foliage is only three inches high, so I can not bank them up, as it would cover the flowers ?

          Its a our first year of spud growing , weve got them in 3 pots (2x king edwards 1x Pentland (forgoton the next bit lol) - weve planted them at the bottom in 3 inchs of compost them as theyve come up covered them again

          Sorry to sound thick but how do we know when there ready ?
