Thanks Fran, I've got more to come but dont want to bore everyone [IMG] ....not just yet anyway.
My lantana was collected at Pismo beach years ago.
Marley, that fuchsia is one of only a few I have, I dont know the name but must have had it 30 or so years. The reason I like it is that it produces more than one flower from each leaf joint, if its happy, plus its a good strong colour.
The first pic is caesalpinia gilliesii, it likes a hot wall to grow on in this country, but it a shrub/smalltree really.

Should point out its not the same plant, I've propagated it a few times over the years, I find that one hardy, comes up every year.
Finding something to bring back is always on my mind when I go anywhere, problem is I end up with a load of plants that are not particulary good to look at, but I dont like to throw them away. :D

[IMG] Ooooh I know just what you mean. Got or had all sorts of things over the years, I always come home with something, but it is fun germinating them & getting them to grow, [IMG] [IMG]
I have also taken many many cuttings over the years of my fushia. I have one planted out & 4 in pots at the moment

Second one a stapelia, bit like a cactus.
That one doesn't smell but some do, they stink of rotten meat so as to attract bluebottles which pollenate the flowers. :D
