My Tobacco slideshow

    Hi folks i have had some members ask me about this and have talked to ARMANDII about where to put this small slideshow video i made about Tobacco stages, i have put it in media but it is waiting to be approved i think in the mean time i will put a link here hope you enjoy and i hope it gives folks a little incite into Tobacco growing in the UK, many thanks Bill:dbgrtmb:

      My golden virginia leaves never made that width what i grew last yr :frown: do you think it was down to weather conditions bill possibly,i fed them home made comfry every week and miracle grow once a month (wasnt sure on miracle grow) maybe it wasnt enough or other reasons :dunno: cheers julie x

        its hard for me to say julie, it could be a lot of things where did you get your seed from?, Virginia leaf should be at least 1 foot long i have had them nearly 2 feet and that's not the biggest leaf size some strains Black Mammoth and the like can get bigger, i have been known to use miracle grow on them but a little trick is to use epsom salts, use in your watered feed about 2 table spoons per gallon every 2 weeks this has a real good affect on leaf growth and chlorophyll in the leaf, which helps the plant process the suns rays and produce more food for the plant. :)

          So Mg is good :blue thumb: could of been the seed(not sure of strain) or weather but sounds like feed more likely,i didnt know what i was doing i cant deny but i tried from limited googling etc :)
          Black mammoth sounds more like a alocasia to me not tabacco bill :heehee:
