My partner cuts hedge once a year, he did it the other week. I grew my foxglove trees from seed I have 2, the other one on other side of the garden does better than that one for some reason. I've just been out looking at garden and I've decided to move things around in the autumn when plants have died down, my son wants a bigger pond and it floods down there in real bad weather, never used to. Might cut some more grass away too! Tempted to start moving things now but I know I should'nt [IMG]

Gorgeous collection, TO. I like the colour of the leaves on the first Canna. I'm quite into them at the moment and they bloom for half the year or more here which is nice.

What are the lovely multi-coloured leaf plants above the Lotus? The Lotus is having a rest here now for the summer.

Thanks everyone. The multi coloured leaf one is Amaranthus (josephs coat) and the black leaf is colocasia esculenta (black majic).
Not many of the plants go in for the winter, cos south facing and might only get a couple of light frosts in winter, just wrap my nanas with fleece, will take amaranthus in and my ensetes.

I'll have to get Black Majic to compliment my green one. [IMG]
What variety of Agapanthus is it TO, do you know, it seems to have more white in the flowers than my common blue Headbourne hybrids.
