It was a choice between tackling the ever growing mountain of ironing or having a walk through the woods and around the outskirts of town today, guess which one won :lollol:

    Spectacular tree colours Rouxbee.:thumb:
Went for a walk this afternoon but it was cold, windy and cloudy, nothing like the weather you had.

    Afternoon folks

Thanks for the kind replies, I know i'm blessed to live in one of the most scenic and beautiful counties of Scotland, that being Dumfries & Galloway, everytime i'm out walking it changes and i just wanted to share some of it with you.

Needless to say that pile of ironing is still there :D:D:D

Lovely pics of a particularly lovely part of the country. We very nearly moved down there about 30 years ago

Lovely photos Roux... I love the way Autumn can give lovely crisp bright days, but with the sun being so low in the sky, long shadows and a sort of melancholy.

I'd love a walk in those woods.
