I thought I'd share with you what I spent yesterday afternoon doing (when I should have been studying!). I made a little wildlife pond. It took about 6 hours, including removing the tree stump that was there before the pond and popping out to buy the plants. The total cost was under £50, including having the pond delivered and all the plants which doesn't seem too bad. Time will tell how much of a success it will be but at the moment I'm really enjoying looking at it. It's also already drowned a couple of slugs, woop! :)
I don't suppose anyone knows what the little maggoty wormy thing is? There are a couple of them living in one of the plant baskets and I'm curious.

No idea on your wormy/maggoty thingywotsits, but I just wanted to congratulate you on you job well done :yay:

As for studying ... ... well, as every successful student will tell you: "reflection" time is the best and most productive part in the world of studying ... so, well done on creating the perfect "reflection" spot  A great investment of your study time IMO ;)

Thanks M! I have certainly been doing a lot of 'reflecting'
The really exciting news is that I have my first frog! I've never even seen one in the garden so I thought it would be months before one turned up. I was ridiculously over excited when I saw it the first time.:dancy:
Oh and I think I've identified the wormy thing as a type of crane fly larvae.
