I had a fitted mirrored 5 sliding door wardrobe installed to keep clothes, shoes, coats etc etc nice and neat in the one area,it looks and does the business.
Only one problem the wife has four compartments I have one.:gaah:.
The other day I was clearing some stuff which I no longer wear,to make some space for some new clothes which I had purchased.
I slid the other four doors open, Bloooody Hells Bells I thought I was in a clothing department store.

When I approached the wife about the space she had taken over she just said,
"Oh most of them I never wear, I don't have a lot of clothes ,I need room for my shoes, boots, bags ,jewellery"!!.
I thought I was married to Imelda Marcos, I've never seen one person with so many shoes.:rolleyespink:.

We came to an agreement, I Think, SHE has kindly allocated ME another half compartment.:love30:.
She must have had Negotiation Practice Ideas from some of our Politicians .:gaah:.
    I think I've been screwed again:th scifD36:.

Anyone else got problems with storage space ?. ;);).

Luckily, we have a wardrobe in each bedroom (though the one in the main
bedroom, is slightly bigger). OH has use of main one, only because it's more
              convenient for him.:old:

I have always had the habit of 'buy one, get rid of one (means I get more).

At the moment, I am in the process of making toys and other things, so fabric
is at a premium, I just cut up what I have (you don't get much selling at boot sales,
Ebay the same, so I turn it into another revenue

Its the same in our house, we have a triple wardrobe 2/3 rd's are Mrs T's stuff plus a dressing table and a 6 draw unit, I have a 1/3 rd of the wardrobe, plus she has a double wardrobe in the spare bedroom with her summer clothes in. It's ridiculous how much stuff she has, most of it never see's the light of day.
We went to Manchester last Saturday she bought more stuff, I really don't know were she is going to put it.
And some of her stuff is mixed up with mine, I went to get a shirt the other morning and got out one of her blouses , Thinking it was one of my shirts.
BEFORE anyone say's anything I'm not in to cross dressing
                  It does my head in:gaah:

mine is not clothes issue--in fact I am into the spirit of getting rid of clothes/stuff. It would be the stuff of my husband--and not clothes either. In that area we are the same, not into clothes, quality clothes--yes but not quantity. Just all the stuff from a DIY man. And that we had to collect crap from two houses after his grandmother died and then his parents died. Little by little they go to auction houses. Should be pleased as they do bring money, its just that and his DIY stuff floods the basement. Also his car hobby, due to that I have never been able to put "my" car in the garage to unload the groceries in the rain. That is why we have three sheds, two are for "cars" and car junk. the smaller shed for the garden stuff.
In the basement "right" now is his mothers ugly living room set, like I hate it --send it to a funeral home or something, but its in the way.
