Without seeing the fruiting bodies I would say it was pretty impossible as most a just white threads.

Pics and where it is found and on what it is growing would maybe help.

Difficult; you could try the British Mycological Society http://www.britmycolsoc.org.uk/
They may be able to help.
I am interested in why you want to know and if you think it is causing or related to a plant problem. I have heard of mycorhizzal mats affecting water penetration.

its good stuff to reboost compost that has been treated , helps feed the plants

i want to be able to breed some :)

        Hmm! Confused.
Your pics show a dead plant. Maybe the fungus was the cause of it dying!
Impossible to id what fungus it might be...without the fruiting bodies...the mushroom/toadstools.
Not all fungus are the good guys.
You want the beneficial mycorrhizal fungus that helps tree roots/plants etc.
Once you buy it, it will grow all by itself.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by reboost compost and what has the compost been treated with. As Silver Surfer says you can buy mycorrhizal fungi from garden centres or online. You can get different "flavours" depending on what you want to grow.
Home made compost is full of beneficial fungi so digging that into your beds is always a good idea.
