    Looks like an evening primrose 'Oenothera', flowers open just as dusk falls.

      The flowers look like Oenothera but the leaves are too small and fleshy.

            Yep, I agree. I've got it in my garden and it wasn't deliberately planted and the seeds must have been brought in by birds or the wind over 15 years ago. Like Marley says it will self seed quite well.,,,,,I like it.:snork:

            Same here ARMANDII I didn't plant mine either but it is lovely, I did have a white one now what happened to that :scratch:must see if I saved seed as typically that hasn't self sown so well or I've pulled them up while thinning out the yellow :hate-shocked:, think my favourite is Oenethera versicolor 'Sunset Boulevarde' grew it last year supposed to be perennial and thought they'd died on me but noticed some tiny leaves today, everythings so late.

              I'm often to be seen in the evenings when the Evening Primrose is in flower with my nose stuck in one of them!!:heehee:
