I planted some narcissis bulbs about a month ago and they have already come up. In fact, most of them already have buds on them and it looks like they are thinking about flowering in the next couple of weeks.
Ermmm....actually I had wanted them in the spring!
Does any one know what is going on? Have I done something wrong?

Yup. You should have called yourself 'Flourchild' then your Yorkshire puddings would have cooked in 2 minutes. ;) :D

I thought I had, but obviously not then! What will happen to them now? Will they survive? Should I plant some more (deeply!) to ensure I have some in the spring?

The depth of planting is normally reckoned to be 2 to 3 times the height of the bulb of soil above the top of the bulb, except for some which need to be deeper (Tulips say) or shallower (Nerines).
It dpeneds on the variety, but the ones in the flower beds going into Minehead are often in flower in December!
