    Hi,

Last year we sowed some Nastys that the packet says grow to 6ft tall, but of course they enjoy going way taller, some 'runners' going about 16ft behind a trellis by Autumn.

Would like to grow some up a 6ft pole, but wonder what is the best way to treat them to ensure plenty of flowers.

Do we nip out the growing tips and force it to continually sideshoot or let it grow but train the growth around the pole.

Could buy smaller growing plants, but probably find they will not grow enough to fill the 6ft pole !

Sorry can’t help you, but like the sound of these tall climbing nasturtiums, I also love the regular type but whenever I grow them ( three times so far) they got covered in black fly.
Anyone know how to prevent this?
Am sure an expert will be along soon ricky:)
