Need help, again!

    A friend, who actually is a very knowledgeable gardener, has this plant in her garden. She has no idea what it is, I think it's been there for some time. From what she says, there are no flowers to speak of. I more or less promised her, that one of you clever people would have an answer!

    It is a Polygonatum sp.
    I believe it may be one of my favourites..... Polygonatum verticillatum.

    The tiny flower buds are just showing on your pic.
    Followed by red berries.
    It then turns a beautiful golden colour in the autumn before dying back ..to reappear next spring.
