So I'm making a few vegetable garden beds. Small ones out of Cedar 3' x 5'. I'm not using pressure-treated wood but I was wondering if there's any kind of safe stain I could use that won't harm my vegetables.
    Thanks!

I've stained the outside with general Ronseal type stuff, left the inside natural and lined around the edges with plastic sheeting. Not sure how clever this is! Would like to hear more about safe stains/preservers too if anyone can shed any light.

Stain or preservative with colourant? Not that it matters much - I don;t really think any preservative will affect what's grown in the volume of soil
