Need to contact the Admin Team, but can't get onto the forum?

    We have had some instances recently where our valued members have suddenly found themselves unable to access the forums, and as a result they have also been unable to get in touch with any of the Admin Team to let us know there is a problem. There is of course the Gardener's Corner Facebook page, however we are also aware that there are many people who are not on Facebook, and this leaves them incommunicado.

    This is clearly not what any of us want, so to address this we now have an email address where you can contact the Admin Team in the event that you cannot get onto the forum.

    Please ONLY use this email address in the event that you cannot get onto the forum

    In all other instances, please use the post alert button or send us a PM either individually or jointly, and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.

    Please also bear in mind that there may be a delay between you sending an email and you getting a response.

    When sending an email, please try to give as much information as you can, not forgetting:-

    - Your GC username
    - The problem you are experiencing, and any error messages you are seeing
    - When the problem started, and what device you are using to connect to the forum (PC, tablet, phone etc)

    Essentially, the more clues you can give us, the faster we will be able to resolve any problems.

        Thanks to all the Admin team,the gofers,cleaners,tea and coffee makers,paper shufflers and anyone else I have missed for all the hard work that is put into running this site.:smile:

                  @Linz - what message are you getting on the phone, and how are you trying to view the site (Chrome?)

                  Hi FC, thanks for getting back on here. Yes it's on Chrome, (samsung s6 if that's relevant) no message if I log in with Linz just refreshes the page but if I use my email address I get password error. Also log in on a pc, a tablet and have used another phone all on chrome but no problems, hope that helps? :smile:

                  Sounds very odd to me. I use Chrome on my phone, and have no issues with it. I can reset your password for you if it helps, but we would have to go to PM or email for that.

                    In the process of getting @Linz sorted, it appears that some phones browsers are a bit reluctant to take passwords - should this be the case for anyone else, then do not panic - just drop the Admin Team a PM or send us an email and we will reset your password for you (you can change it again as soon as you log in), which so far seems to have cured the problem.

                    It also appears that these same phones are reluctant to let you log in with your email address, in which case you need to log in with your username.

                      I cannot access GC using my home BT wifi (but can access all other websites), nor using a (also BT) neighbour's wifi, but I can still access GC by using (Three) mobile broadband on all my devices and also (EE) on my phone.

                      It probably is related to a DNS issue, which should resolve itself over next few hours, we have moved to a more stable DNS provider to address these issues, and are awaiting propagation.

                        I was unable to log on a few hours ago so left it until now and everything seems ok.Didnt have time to email anyone as I am busy with washing and ironing and have only stopped for a quick tea break:snorky:
