Nematodes in veg patch?

I've discovered our arch enemy - The Dastardly Vine Weevil - in my veg plot. Before I reach for the nematodes or the drench killer, are either of them actually safe to use in the veg area?

If we all decide they are then where's a good place to buy the nematode from? I've always used provado vine weevil killer before

 

So I did a bit of research and it turns out that Provado isn't for use on edibles so that's out...
