I was just watching gardeners world from a couple of weeks ago, and thought i'd nematode my garden where i dont want slugs, cant be arsed with the snipping them, though will do that still. But then i was reading about it on wikipedia, and it doesn't sound nice.

I assume they aren't the same species of nematode that could get into humans? So is it safe to nematode edible crops?

Also i've had a look in b&q this weekend and couldn't find it, just lots of slug killing stuff that didn't look organic.

You are correct - the slug control variety are not the same as the ones in the wiki link.

I've used them for several seasons and they are safe - have a look at this place, which is where I buy them. Excellent and speedy service. They are safe for humans, pets and wildlife.
