    Genista Aetnensis, Mt Etna Broom and if I had a big garden I would have a couple.

      The concrete area is exactly where the big greenhouses used to be.

        The gardens are looking a lot better than a few years ago but I guess the greenhouses were too expensive to repair or heat.
