If you have access to Netflix I strongly recommend you watch this series. It has only been available on Netflix since the middle of December There are 10, I think hour long episodes. I and my daughter have been glued to it for 3 days. My Daughter is 1/2 way through her law degree and a friend suggested she watched this documentary to see how the justice system in America can be anything but.
I have rarely seen anything so mind boggling. The documentary is about a mis carriage of justice and 2 murder trials. In Britain, the only things I can think of which even comes close to what happened in these cases were The Guildford 4, Maguire 7 and possibly the Hillsborough disaster.
I sincerely hope our legal systems couldn't sink quite so low but maybe I'm being naïve.

I started watching it quite late last night as I'd read about it in the media but didn't get very far in so i'll carry on watching it today.

I also read that the BBC is finalising a true crime series on an alleged miscarriage of justice in the hope that it can make the same impact as MAM. I don't know what the actual case is but it's meant to be compelling according to the BBC.

Both Daughter and I were rivitted @Fern4. Nearing the end of the documentary I thought it was so telling when 1 of the defence lawyer was almost in tears regarding the state of so called American justice. I'm an OAP and I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like this. Astounded isn't quite adequate!
